M2

M15 globular cluster in Pegasus

Captured with a Starlight XPress MX5 12 bit CCD camera at prime focus of a MEADE LX200 8" telescope equipped with a focal reducer F/3.3
2 exposures of 60 seconds have been added.

M2 is a globular cluster at a distance of 40 000 light-years in Aquarius constellation. This cluster is 120 light-years wide.

6 exposures of 60 seconds have been added.

M3 is a globular cluster at a distance of 35 000 light-years in Canes Venatici constellation. This cluster is 220 light-years wide.

 

M13

M13 globular cluster in Hercules

Captured with a CANON EOS300D digital camera at prime focus of a MEADE LX200 8" telescope.
2 exposures of one minute were added.

M13 is a globular cluster at a distance between 20 000 and 25 000 light-years in Hercules constellation. This 175 light-years wide cluster contains 500 000 stars.

M15 is a globular cluster at a distance between 30 000 and 40 000 light-years in Pegasus constellation. This cluster is 130 light-years wide.

1 minute exposure.

M22 is a globular cluster at a distance of 22 000 light-years in Sagittarius constellation. This cluster is 50 light-years wide.
